According to Blogger, my last post was the day before April Fool’s, which was a little over a month ago. It seems like a bad April Fool’s joke to take a hiatus, but I ended up taking one… starting on April 1st. Tests seemed to pop up all over the place and soon, I found myself in the finals week crunch.
It’s finally over, I’m happy to say! I jaunted off to California to visit family and maybe friends (who seem to be equally as busy, sigh) as well as get some work done. The work never stops, does it?
California is the still place that I remembered from last year when I also went, and a little more. This time though, I’m taking it a lot more slowly and relaxing a lot more. I went to Costco for the first time (I’ve only been to Sam’s Club before) and ate some fresh fruit off the fruit trees in the yard, which is always exciting. Can I just move here already?
I’m currently reading Jennifer E. Smith’s The Geography of You and Me, which is a YA novel about a power outage in NYC, love (it is Jennifer E. Smith, after all) and traveling. Two of my favorite things (who loves power outages, anyway?). I’m excited to be back blogging because I’ve missed it so much and to be commenting again. I can’t imagine how many unread Feedly articles I’ve amassed in the past month, but I’ll work on it. So, if you any comment alerts for blog posts from a month ago, it’s probably me. Most definitely me.
What happened in the past month for you? What new things are you looking forward to?
