I finished all my exams for the week today. Finally! Remember when I said that I went to the bookstore? I finally found the time to edit the photos and write a post.
I went to the bookstore with a fellow book loving friend (I’m convinced that book lovers find each other) and despite the fact we got off at the wrong stop, we finally made it to the bookstore.
So many books, with my favorite classics (hello there Jane Austen). It was a difficult decision to decide what I wanted to buy but I ended up buying Maria Semple’s Where’d You Go, Bernadette, which I’ve been meaning to read for a long time.
It was nice going to an independent bookstore instead of Barnes and Noble (or Amazon, for that matter). While Barnes and Noble and Amazon are usually cheaper, it’s nice to be supporting the local economy. I’m probably not going to buy all my books at an indie bookstore, I’m definitely going to be mixing around where I buy books from.
